DXE Medical and AED.com are pleased to announce that four of our employees are now Licensed Training Providers through the American Red Cross. Maddie Reaves, Ashley Fidler, Blaire Czarniecki and Jerilyn Henegar (pictured above) are certified to teach Red Cross courses in CPR and AED – Adult and Pediatric. Within the course, participants learn to confidently and appropriately respond to cardiac and breathing emergencies.

According to the AHA, nearly 360,000 people suffer from cardiac arrest in the United States every year with less than a 10% survival rate. With early administration of high-quality CPR and use of an Automated External Defibrillator or AED, survival rates dramatically increase.

In honor of CPR/AED Awareness Week next month (June 1-7), DXE Medical will be offering the full course FREE of charge to TWO local organizations or groups (max number of participants per class is 16 individuals). Hopeful submissions must be able to attend training at the DXE Medical facility in Brentwood, TN during normal business hours (specified 3 hour course time TBA).

To submit your organization, or individuals for consideration in the CPR/AED Training Giveaway, please email LearnCPR@dxemed.com no later than May 16th expressing your interest in learning these valuable life-saving skills.

Winners will be contacted by Friday May 20th with details on the CPR/AED Awareness Week Training (to be scheduled between June 1st-7th).
