A healthy 8th grade student in Taiwan suddenly went into cardiac arrest during class and lost consciousness on May 26th. The student, identified only by his surname, Chen, had no pulse when the school nurse reached him. The school nurse immediately began CPR with the aid of the school principal and other teachers. School District Improves Safety with Powerheart G3 AEDs

Davis School District

The Davis County School District in Utah assessed how save their schools were and saw that they were still lacking automated external defibrillators (AEDs).  This realization came in the wake of a recent incident involving Utah State University, when Danny Berger, the basketball teams shooting guard, suffered from sudden cardiac arrest during a practice.  The coach not only knew how to deal with the situation, but was also prepared with an AED that saved Berger’s life.  Continue reading School District Improves Safety with Powerheart G3 AEDs
