We did it again! AED.com and DXE Medical partnered with ZOLL Medical to giveaway FOUR more AEDs during Sudden Cardiac Arrest Month, October. Here is a little about each of our winners:
Our very first giveaway went to Jennifer McArthur, faculty member of Chinook Middle School of the Highline School District in SeaTac, Washington. This AEDs new home will be in the foyer of the school’s gymnasium which is a great, central location on their campus of around 575 kids. They already have onsite CPR/AED trained faculty, but this will be the school’s very first AED which is incredible! Congratulations!
The week 2 winner was Michelle Shirley of Versa Integrity Group in Louisiana. This company actually just started their AED program with 4 AEDs at some of their locations and are thrilled to welcome this 5th AED for another location. Congrats to you all!
AED #3 went to the Union County Community Shelter in Monroe, North Carolina thanks to the submission by Derrick Burnell. The Union County Shelter provides food and shelter for the homeless in their community, as well as support programs to help individuals achieve self-sufficiency. Congrats to your team!
Our 4th and final AED giveaway went to Beth Wheeler-Dean of the Guntersville Public Library in Guntersville, AL. This small town library has over 47,000 books, tapes, CDs, DVDs and Videos. This library offers meeting spaces, book sales and other community activities, as well as a plethora of insightful book knowledge on their social media accounts. Congrats to your library and all who enjoy it!
AED.com and DXE Medical are so happy to support the AED awareness and communications cause. AEDs literally have the capability to save lives of cardiac arrest victims, but still there are so many people/ companies/ communities that are still in the dark on the subject. We want to increase the knowledge behind AEDs, SCA and CPR every single day. Giving away AEDs is just one way that we do this.
These four AEDs went to great institutions and I am sure they won’t be our last! Stay up to date with what our company is doing by checking our AED.com Facebook page here.
