Severe Bleeding First Aid Online Training

During this 30 minute online course, you will learn the signs and sumptons of severe and life-threatening bleeding. This course created by the American Red Cross takes you through the actions needed during a bleeding emergency to stop the flow of blood until professional help arrives. The Severe Bleeding First Aid course will teach you how to apply a tourniquet and hemostatic dressing. At the end of the course, a passing grade on the final quiz will award you your certificate of completion. Class is approximately 30 min in length.

What to Expect

• Registration: After purchasing, you will need to input the information for the student(s) intended to take the class. You will do this either via your order confirmation screen or the registration email. 
• Learning: Approximately 15 minutes after inputting student information, the student will receive an email with a link to begin the class. Progress is saved as you go along. Be sure to reference the requirements below for optimal learning experience.
• Certificate: Once the student completes the learning and passes the class, a certificate of completion is issued. This will be emailed to the student approximately 4 hours after completion.
