What is Virtual CPR & Safety Training?

By now many people have heard or used the word “virtual” many times, but what exactly does it mean and how does it work when it comes to virtual CPR and safety training? Cardio Partners now offers virtual CPR and safety training and it is approved by the American Red Cross. During COVID-19 virtual options for CPR and safety training became necessary and are still being used and accepted as a form of evaluation.

How To Prepare for the Virtual Training

Once you sign up for virtual CPR and safety training you will retrieve a link to the course. You will need high speed internet as the course must be performed on a computer and cannot be completed on a mobile phone. Google Chrome or Firefox must be used to complete the class.

Supplies needed for the virtual skills check portion of the class will arrive within five days of purchase of the course. Cardio Partners will send training participants a link to schedule their virtual skills check. The virtual skills check will take between 30 and 90 minutes to complete. To prepare for the skills check it is important that you have space on the floor, a working webcam, audio, internet and all your supplies. Once you pass the virtual skills check you will receive a link with the completion certificate.

What You Will Learn During Your Virtual Training

70 percent of Americans feel helpless to act in an emergency. By taking a virtual CPR and safety training class you can help to decrease this statistic. In this training there is a mix of interactive modules with simulations and visuals to help you learn the basics of CPR and first aid. You will learn how to recognize an emergency situation, how to tell if someone is breathing or not and when to use first aid. This class will help the responder give the victim the best chance of survival and avoid serious injury. Register for the Cardio Partners Virtual CPR & Safety Training here.
